Integrators running a standalone quoting or project tool alongside separate accounting software key the same equipment and the same figures in more than once. Macrohat SI is being designed to remove that double entry, so quoting, delivery, purchasing, invoicing and service reconcile inside one Odoo database rather than across several systems.

The design builds on Odoo's own CRM, Sales, Inventory, Project, Field Service, Helpdesk and Accounting apps rather than replacing them, and adds what the trade needs on top: rooms, systems and phases on every quote line, a catalogue that carries manufacturer specifications and dealer pricing, proposals the client signs online, job costing, and service plans that continue after handover. It is planned in phases, starting with quoting.
