Restyle Odoo's own cookie banner from settings, without code, and point it at your real cookie policy.
Odoo already ships a working cookie mechanism: a bar, real blocking of third-party content until consent, and consent the server can read. What it does not offer is any control over how the bar looks, or where its policy link goes.
This module extends Odoo's bar rather than replacing it. Position, offsets, width, colours, font, border, padding and corner radii become per-website settings under Website, Configuration, Settings, directly beneath Odoo's own Cookies Bar switch. The module ships no colour, size or font of its own: a setting left empty emits no CSS at all, so an empty configuration looks exactly like stock Odoo.
The policy link can point wherever the site's real cookie policy lives. Odoo's own placeholder policy page is never deleted: on Odoo 19 it is unpublished, and on Odoo 20 it is not created in the first place.
| Settings | Per website, under Website, Configuration, Settings |
|---|---|
| Appearance | Position, offsets, maximum width, background, text and accent colours, font, border, padding, corner and button radii |
| Empty settings | Emit no CSS; the banner inherits the theme |
| Policy link | Any URL; Odoo's placeholder page is never deleted |
| Odoo mechanism | Extended, not replaced: Odoo's bar, consent cookie and third-party blocking stay in place |
Not in this release. The consent record, tracker detection and a generated cookie declaration are the next stages of the module's build and are not included yet.
No. It extends it. Odoo's bar, its consent cookie and its third-party blocking stay in place; the module adds settings for how the bar looks and where its policy link points.
No module can do that on its own. Compliance depends on what the site sets, what it says and what it loads. This module controls the banner's appearance and policy link.
